Ensuring hazard-free working conditions for employees is a priority for any company. If there is any uncertainty as to whether equipment meets health and safety standards, it is worth conducting a safety audit and, if necessary, implementing corrective actions.
Aspects of a safety audit:
- safety audit in accordance with Directive 2006/42/EC
- risk assessment using the risk index method (Risc Score)
- adaptation of the machine to the minimum requirements
- risk assessment documentation
- CE certification
- EC declaration of conformity.
The first step is to conduct a security audit. As part of this process, the machine undergoes a review and all possible risks are diagnosed. Based on the collected data, a proposal is made for measures to reduce the risk to the required level. Once the final form of corrective actions is determined, they are implemented in accordance with best engineering practices. The work is completed when the residual risk for the work at the site complies with the applicable standards. As part of the project, complete documentation of the work carried out and certification of the equipment is provided. Proper identification of risks and their elimination is crucial to the proper operation of the plant and ensuring proper working conditions.
